From £79.00
A new addition to the white Roo Alba range of switches and sockets, featuring a very unusual matt finish.
These classic round porcelain sockets come from a small team of makers in Bohemia. Katy Paty products are solid, virtually indestructible and have a charming retro feel to them.
Our Katy Paty sockets are only available as unswitched singles and need a single European back box.
They can be installed next to each other using “chamfered” backplates, if a double socket is required. Choose “Double Unswitched” as the function below and add one of the special double back boxes, found here (for dry walls) and here (for masonry walls).
What you need to know
What’s in the box?
You will receive a modular socket set, consisting of a socket insert, a round 1-gang frame and a front plate with fixing screws.

What does an electrician call this?
Where is this used in the home?
This is a single/double mains power outlet (British Standard).
Installation
Katy Paty switches require a bit more patience to wire up, simply because they are modelled on original designs and don’t have the modern conveniences of push-contacts and encapsulated backplates.
Just follow the step-by-step pictures below or go to our Katy Paty switch installation page. Don’t forget you need a European round box for this product!
Please refer to our Installation section for more installation advice, manuals and helpful videos.
