Delivery

In general…

Usually orders from Swtch are subject to the manufacturers’ production lead times and/or the time for us to receive stock, as indicated on the individual product pages.

PLEASE TAKE NOTE OF THE STOCK LEVELS WHEN YOU ORDER!

If your selected product is not available to be shipped immediately, it will say “Not in stock but available to order, ready to ship in approximately (x) days.”

In that case the delivery estimate of 1-2 days (UK) indicates when you will receive your order after we have received all parts from the manufacturer.

If we hold your items in stock and you select a Next Day service, orders are dispatched the same day if ordered by 1pm. Orders after that time or weekend orders will be dispatched the next working day.

Larger or heavy orders may be dispatched the following day by courier, but will usually be on a next day service.

Please note: we do not ship part orders, so we will wait for your whole order to be in stock before dispatching. If an in-stock part of your order is urgent, contact us by email or live chat and we will see what we can do.

UK Shipping

Timescales below are indicative of when you should expect to receive your Swtch delivery once we have handled, packaged and dispatched it.

Shipping to the EU (including Republic of Ireland)

Since the UK  left the EU, its customs union and the single market, there are new rules for all orders from customers in Ireland and the rest of the European Union.

From 1 January 2021 customers in the EU will no longer be charged 20% UK VAT, but will be required to pay import VAT at your country’s rate when the goods arrive. You may also have to pay customs duties if applicable. Please note that you may be required to pay taxes and duties before your local customs authority releases your goods to you. Swtch is not responsible for the payment of any such taxes and charges, nor any loss incurred by you as a result.

Shipping to other territories outside the UK

We do offer international shipping but timescales and costs depend on the destination country, weight and nature of products.

All prices shown include UK VAT by default. Since there is no VAT on sales outside of the UK, our system will detect your location and adjust prices accordingly.

Please get in touch with us at orders@swtch.co.uk if you are planning to get an order delivered to an international address. You may also want to confirm that the electrical products we sell are compatible with your country’s regulations.

NB: We deliver to most countries worldwide, but please be aware that there may be import duties and fees to be paid by the recipient.
