From £49.00
The GIRA E3 White range is a hard-working but stylish replacement for your basic plastic switches and dimmers. It features wide rockers, an easy-to-clean glossy surface and the same gentle rounded contours of the rest of the E3 range.
The push dimmer units by ION Industries are “Trailing Edge” LED dimmers with load ratings of 200W (single) and 2 x 150W (double).
Electrician’s note: For proper 2-way dimming these units require a “retractive push-to-make” switch at the other end of the circuit, or one of the auxiliary push dimmers. Please get in touch if you require more information.
Gira has a huge range of wiring products, functions and devices that can be combined with these frames. Contact us for information on other options if you can’t find what you’re looking for.

Installation
Because of the modular nature of European wiring accessories, installation is slightly different to fitting the encapsulated (moulded) switches and sockets common in the UK. Have a look at the step-by-step pictures below, or consult the more detailed Gira rocker switch installation instructions.

Dimensions

Does this cover a standard british back box?
This product covers a standard metal knockout box, but it doesn't cover the edges of plastic "dry-lining" boxes. If you can't fit a metal flush box, we recommend using "flat plate" drywall boxes or European round boxes.
How deep does the back box need to be?
This needs a slightly deeper box, at least 35mm.
